The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has found Alyannah Aguinaldo, known as Yanna Motovlog, guilty of reckless driving and other violations stemming from a viral road rage incident in Zambales. She was fined a total of P7,000 for driving without side mirrors, without a license plate, and for reckless overtaking captured on video.
The LTO ruling was based on Aguinaldo’s own video post and apology letter. She was cited under Sections 48 and 18 of Republic Act 4136, with the video showing her overtaking a pickup on a hazardous road without proper signals or safety gear.
Despite surrendering her license on May 8, Aguinaldo refused to appear at the LTO investigation or surrender the motorcycle, drawing criticism from the agency for “disrespecting due process” and hindering enforcement.
“As a content creator, she has a duty to promote safe riding. Instead, she modeled dangerous behavior that could influence her followers,” said LTO chief Vigor Mendoza II.
The LTO ordered the motorcycle’s license plate suspended and placed the vehicle on alarm, directing law enforcers to confiscate it and apprehend Aguinaldo if she is seen driving while under suspension. Rio N. Araja
