The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) will be observing holiday operation hours for its Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) on Election Day, with the first train opening at least half an hour late and its last train departing from end-to-end stations an hour earlier.
Malacañang has earlier announced that May 12, Monday, will be a special non-working holiday to allow all registered voters cast their ballots in their designated polling centers for the 2025 National and Local Elections.
In accordance with its updated train service hours effective last March 26, 2025, the LRT-1 will implement the following schedule on Election Day:
FIRST TRAIN
- From Dr. Santos Station (formerly Sucat) Parañaque City – 5:00 AM
- From Fernando Poe Jr. Station (formerly Roosevelt Quezon City – 5:00 AM
LAST TRAIN
- From Dr. Santos Station (formerly Sucat) Parañaque City – 9:30 PM
- From Fernando Poe Jr. Station (formerly Roosevelt Quezon City – 9:45 PM
The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3), on the other hand, said it will be running under normal operations to serve regular commuters on Election Day. It has provided the following schedule:
FIRST TRAIN
- From North Avenue Station, Quezon City – 4:30 AM
- From Taft Avenue Station, Pasay City – 5:05 AM
LAST TRAIN
- From North Avenue Station, Quezon City – 10:30 PM
- From Taft Avenue Station, Pasay City – 11:09 PM
