The Quezon City policeman who went viral with his social media post slamming the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant against former President Rodrigo Duterte over alleged crimes against humanity has resigned from the Philippine National Police (PNP).
According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), Pat. Francis Steve Fontillas, who is facing criminal and administrative charges for his internet tirade against President Marcos, was no longer a member of the PNP.
The QCPD learned that Fontillas submitted his irrevocable resignation to the PNP effective April 10, and approved by National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief, Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin.
The confirmation was made public Friday night by the QCPD after Fontillas resumed his tirade against the administration on social media. Vince Lopez
