AC Mobility Opens Pagudpud Charging Station, Farthest Up North

The country’s EV Spine Network has expanded even more with the opening of AC Mobility’s northernmost electric vehicle (EV) charging station in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. Situated at the Agua Grande Mini Hydro Power Plant in Barangay Panziann, the station is equipped with two charge points and operates daily from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A joint venture with the Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative Inc. (INEC), and powered by Masinloc Power Partners Co. Ltd. (MPPCL) and GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD), this Pagudpud facility is a crucial step in ACMobility’s vision for a nationwide “Philippine EV Spine” linking Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. With 96 locations and 226 charge points currently operational, and 10 more sites slated for June activation, ACMobility aims to exceed 700 charge points by year-end.
