ACMobility unveils country’s fastest EV chargers to date

ACMobility has launched its most advanced charging stations yet in Makati City, featuring 240 kW SuperFast and 480 kW UltraFast chargers installed in partnership with the Makati Commercial Estate Association (MACEA) and Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI). Now operational at the Corinthians Carpark, with the Leviste Carpark soon to follow, this development positions Makati as a crucial hub in ACMobility’s expanding nationwide EV network.

The Corinthians Carpark station boasts nine DC CCS2 slots, including four 240 kW dual-gun chargers and one 480 kW UltraFast charger—the fastest in the country. These can charge compatible EVs in as little as 10-15 minutes, depending on battery capacity. Equipped with 1000-amp air-cooled cables, the system is designed for efficiency and scalability, with a dedicated pull-through slot for larger EVs. The station is fully integrated with Evro, ACMobility’s all-in-one app for finding chargers, initiating sessions, tracking status, and making cashless payments. Charging is priced at ₱35/kWh, with membership plans offering up to 20% savings.

To further enhance accessibility, ACMobility recently deployed Power-on-Wheels (POW), a fleet of mobile DC fast chargers, in Makati, Taguig, and Mandaluyong, with more Metro Manila locations planned. This ensures reliable energy access even in areas with limited permanent infrastructure.

Makati is now ACMobility’s most electrified city, with 70 active EV charging points across 16 locations, projected to reach 100 charge points across 22 locations by year-end. This contributes to ACMobility’s goal of installing over 700 charge points nationwide in 2025. Significantly, the Corinthians Carpark station is powered by 100% renewable energy through a direct partnership with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES), supporting the national goal of 35% renewables by 2030 via the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Option Program (GEOP).

This network expansion is part of ACMobility’s broader initiative to build the Philippine EV Spine, a comprehensive nationwide network of fast-charging stations. As of May 2025, ACMobility operates over 90 charging locations, with 30 more sites expected by June. Buencamino emphasized that each new station reinforces this “nationwide backbone of clean transport,” making electric mobility seamless and accessible for all Filipinos.
