SMX Convention Center Clark reinforced its role in Central Luzon’s meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry when it received multiple awards at the Department of Tourism Region 3’s Tourism Recognition for Enterprises and Stakeholders (TRES) Awards.
The convention center was named Grand Winner in the Indoor MICE Event Venue and MICE Exhibition Venue categories, while it placed second runner-up in the MICE Meeting Room category.
“As the country’s largest convention center operator, we are honored to receive this recognition, which reflects not just the efforts of SMX Convention Center Clark but also the strong collaboration between all MICE stakeholders in the region,” said Mike Albaña, vice president and general manager of SMX Convention Center.
Located in the Clark Freeport Zone, the venue has hosted major industry events, including MICECON 2024 and the PhilConstruct expo. It has also served as a venue for cultural and lifestyle events such as the Tactical, Survival, and Arms Expo and the Wedding Destination Pampanga trade fair.
SMX Convention Center Clark is directly connected to Park Inn by Radisson Clark and is near Clark International Airport, making it accessible for local and international event attendees.
