Playful ensembles for holiday season

Uniqlo is giving Filipino shoppers even more reason to celebrate with the official launch of its highly anticipated 2024 Winter Collection, a collaboration with British designer Anya Hindmarch.

A first for the Philippines, the collection, which debuted last year, blends the minimalist, versatile silhouettes of Uniqlo pieces with Hindmarch’s signature whimsical aesthetic. Featuring fun motifs, playful details, and eye-catching stitching, the collaboration is set to add a burst of creativity to wardrobes just in time for Christmas.

“It’s also very special to us because it’s the first time that we have this in the Philippines,” said Reiny Vergara, Uniqlo Philippines’ Head of PR and Sustainability, during an exclusive preview event. “But it’s already been a collaboration since one year ago. And now, we are very excited because, also in time for our ‘Uniqlo Thank You Festival,’ we are bringing in the Uniqlo and Anya Hindmarch collection.”

Pieces from the collection features vibrant colors with playful details

The collaboration brings Hindmarch’s iconic eye motifs and distinctive stitching to some of Uniqlo’s classic pieces, including shirts, outerwear, and accessories. The playful designs are a nod to Hindmarch’s unique blend of high fashion and fun, making the collection a perfect addition to everyday wardrobes.

“And I think it’s a very perfect mix because you have these silhouettes of Uniqlo, colors of Uniqlo, and then you add on the creativity, the aesthetic of Anya Hindmarch, where you can see, for example, the eye motif, and then the stitches are also here. So it’s very playful and fun, you know, something to really add to your wardrobe,” she continued.

She also mentioned how the collection can be easily paired with your favorite clothing.

“It’s very easy to also match with, for example, because we’re still in a tropical country, but you know, something like long sleeves, and then maybe put on a skirt. It’s very, you know, everyday wear as well,” Vergara added.

Recently, the Uniqlo and Anya Hindmarch collection came as part of the brand’s annual “Thank You Festival,” a week-long event dedicated to celebrating Uniqlo’s loyal customers. From Nov. 22 to Nov. 28, Uniqlo stores nationwide offered limited-time deals on a wide range of items for men, women, kids, and babies, making it the perfect opportunity for shoppers to begin their Christmas shopping.

Shoppers who made a single receipt purchase of P3,500 or more received exclusive treats from Uniqlo, including limited-edition gifts and products from local Filipino brands, such as Cebu Dried Mango and Auro Chocolate, which created a special edition of their premium chocolate exclusively for the festival.

For those who prefer the convenience of online shopping, Uniqlo’s website and mobile app offer a smooth shopping experience with the option of having purchases delivered directly to your door or picking them up in-store via the brand’s “Click and Collect” service.
