Incentivized ‘tuli’: P10k for 20 years and above; P20k for senior citizens

Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan urged men 20 and above to undergo circumcision under the city’s annual incentivized “Libreng Tuli” outreach program.

In a Facebook post, Chan, who is also the city’s congressman-elect, said a 68-year-old resident received P20,000 after participating in the free circumcision program.

Two other residents, aged 23 and 21, got P10,000 each from the city government.

The incentive for senior citizens, on the other hand, will come from the mayor’s personal funds.

The program aims to circumcise a total of 1,000 boys and men.

Participants were also treated to free burgers, ice cream, medicines, and candies, making the experience less daunting and more rewarding, especially for younger boys.
