Cagayan provides cash aid to Tuao

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan—The Cagayan provincial government provided financial aid to the town of Tuao under the “Oplan Tulong sa Barangay” initiative, a key component of the “No Barangay Left Behind” (NBLB) program.

Governor Manuel N. Mamba personally led the distribution of financial aid to over 6,000 recipients, including 2,089 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries, 116 persons with disabilities (PWDs), 91 single parents, and 3,792 members of the vulnerable sector.

In his speech, Mamba emphasized the importance of effective and honest governance, which has enabled the provision of numerous initiatives and aid to the people.

He also stressed the significance of selecting the most qualified candidate to lead the province, noting that he is now in his final term as governor.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) also participated in the distribution of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS), a program designed to help individuals and families facing danger and hardship.
