GLOBAL endurance athlete and advocate Natalie Dau has successfully completed another powerful edition of Project 1000, running 1,000 kilometres across the Philippines in 12 days.
Starting on 21 April in Santa Ana and concluding on 2 May at Jollibee’s flagship store in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Manila, Natalie’s journey captured hearts across the nation and shone a light on the transformative power of resilience, movement, and community support.
Building on the momentum of her past endurance challenges, Natalie once again demonstrated the profound impact of combining sport with purpose. Along the route, from Laoag to Vigan, Baguio, Tarlac, and Angeles, she and her team shared meals with underserved children, visited schools, and championed girls’ empowerment through movement and education.
“Crossing the finish line in BGC was emotional – this run was about showing young girls and communities that anything is possible when we believe in ourselves and each other,” said Natalie Dau. “With the support of Jollibee and the incredible people we met along the way, we’ve proven that even the toughest journeys can create lasting change.”
Key sponsor Jollibee provided crucial support along the 1,000km journey, hosting Natalie in restaurants across Luzon and facilitating community meal-sharing events.
One of the most heartwarming highlights of the journey came on Day 5 at Jollibee Narvacan, where students from Ta-yac Elementary School warmly welcomed Natalie during her visit. In celebration, the children were treated to a special Jollibee Kids Party, complete with fun games, performances by beloved mascots Jollibee and Hetty, and the distribution of loot bags and prizes.

“Project 1000 reflects the best of the Filipino spirit – resilient, generous, and full of heart. We’re proud to have stood beside Natalie in bringing joy and inspiration to communities across the country,” shared Dorothy Dee-Ching, Marketing Head of Jollibee Philippines.
The project reached millions online through daily updates, videos, and stories, with Natalie averaging over 60 -100km per day. The run ended with a celebration in BGC, uniting supporters, team members, and the communities touched by the campaign.
