With the May midterm elections 10 days away, the administration-backed powerhouse Senate slate, Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, will sweep through Quezon, one of Southern Luzon’s most populous and politically influential provinces.
Endorsed by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., the 11-member slate will campaign across the province and hold a major rally in Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City, aiming to energize its nearly 1.5 million registered voters and build momentum heading into the final stretch of the campaign.
The Alyansa ticket includes former Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Senator Pia Cayetano, former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, Senator Lito Lapid, former Senator Manny Pacquiao, former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Senate Majority Leader Francis “Tol” Tolentino, ACT-CIS Representative and former DSWD Secretary Erwin Tulfo, and Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.
The Quezon sortie follows Alyansa’s well-received campaign stops in other parts of Southern Luzon, including Trece Martires City in Cavite on March 11, Santa Rosa City in Laguna on March 22, and Antipolo City in Rizal on April 4.
Alyansa campaign manager and Navotas City Rep. Toby Tiangco underscored Quezon’s importance.
“Quezon has always been a stronghold of civic energy and political influence,” Tiangco said. “We’re here to win trust, listen closely, and offer leaders who will deliver real results.”.
Home to over 2.2 million residents, Quezon includes Lucena City, Tayabas City, and 39 municipalities across four legislative districts.
Alyansa runs on a platform of infrastructure, good governance, jobs, and rural support—especially in provinces like Quezon, where agriculture, tourism, and small enterprises drive the economy.
“Our message is simple: we are here to serve, not just to speak,” Tiangco pointed out. “Alyansa wants to uplift provinces like Quezon with real programs, responsive leadership, and results-driven policies.”
Alyansa’s Quezon visit signals a full-force push in Southern Luzon and reinforces its promise of a Bagong Pilipinas for every province, every voice, every Filipino.
