Conduent, an American IT-business process management company, opened its first provincial office at LIMA Tower One, a newly-launched development by Aboitiz InfraCapital within the LIMA Estate in Batangas province.
Spanning three floors, the new facility is expected to create hundreds of high-value jobs for residents of Batangas and nearby areas.
Aboitiz InfraCapital vice president Rafael Fernandez de Mesa noted the significance of the BERDE (Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence) rating system, which evaluates projects based on environmental, economic and social sustainability.
“We chose to pursue BERDE certification not just because of its technical credibility, but because it was designed by Filipinos, for Filipinos, rooted in the realities and aspirations of our communities,” Fernandez de Mesa said.
LIMA Tower One, positioned as the centerpiece of the LIMA Biz Hub, responds to growing demand for high-quality workspaces outside Metro Manila.
Fernandez also recognized the Philippine Green Building Council’s role in promoting sustainability in the built environment.
Aboitiz InfraCapital manages nearly 2,000 hectares of industrial land and hosts more than 250 global and local companies across its economic estates.
The group supports over 100,000 direct jobs and is the only industrial estate developer in the country with all operating estates BERDE-certified, reinforcing its commitment to building smart and sustainable communities.
