Cebu Pacific said Thursday it will launch direct flights between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City in April 2025, marking the first time an airline connects passengers from Central Visayas directly to Vietnam.
Starting April 7, CEB will operate non-stop flights from Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
“As Vietnam continues to grow in popularity among Filipino travelers, launching a new gateway to the country via Ho Chi Minh City is an exciting step for Cebu Pacific,” said CEB president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao.
“We look forward to offering travelers from Cebu the chance to explore a new destination more seamlessly, and to welcoming more international visitors to discover the Philippines,” he said.
CEB said that from Feb. 20 to 24, CEB travelers may book flights from Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City for as low as P1 one-way base fare (exclusive of fees and surcharges). The travel period will run from April 7 to July 31, 2025.
