About 20 contestants aged 18 to 45 from the youth category competed in the final round, showcasing their vocal prowess and passion for Chinese music.

FFCCCII president Victor Lim said the organization fully supports the promotion of Chinese culture.

He said the contest is a great way to encourage the younger generation of Filipino-Chinese to learn the Chinese language, sing Chinese songs and study traditional Chinese culture.

Now in its 14th year since its inception in 2011, the Water Cube Cup has grown into a major international event, attracting over 45,000 participants from more than 60 global regions.

It has evolved into a grand musical celebration that unites Chinese communities around the world through the power of song.

The contest showed the energy and passion of Filipino-Chinese youth, as they came together to celebrate and keep Chinese traditions alive through singing, proving that music can connect different cultures and generations.
