Tony Award winner and Broadway star Lea Salonga delivered a rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at a New York Yankees game.
On Tuesday, June 17, the team shared a post on its social media accounts showing the Filipina singer-actress performing the US National Anthem.

The post also acknowledged Lea’s current involvement in “Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends,” a tribute concert running on Broadway where she stars alongside other musical theater icons.
Lea later took to Instagram to share a photo from the baseball event.
Just days prior, the celebrated Filipino performer walked the red carpet at the 78th Tony Awards with her son, Nic. Lea also served as one of the presenters during the prestigious ceremony.
