FAMY, Laguna—A historic oath-taking ceremony was held here by Laguna governor-elect Sol Aragones in Barangay Kapatalan led by barangay chairman Anselmo Coronoda.
During the event, Aragones introduced her provincial administrator, Gerry Pelayo, former Mayor of Candaba, Pampanga, and her chief of staff, Ronald Barsena.
“There is a reason why I came to this Barangay in Famy, Laguna. I wanted a simple oath-taking ceremony. I chose this place because I want to see and develop tourism in Laguna. My goal is to create a comprehensive Tourism Master Plan for our province,” Aragones said in her speech.
She emphasized that she wants to expand tourism in the province: When there is tourism, there are jobs. We are also setting up Akay Sol Pharmacies throughout Laguna. I will personally visit the barangays to understand their needs.”
