Taylor Lautner has finally responded to the viral “What hafen, Vella?” meme popularized by Filipino impersonator Cristopher Diwata.
The trend, which mimics Lautner’s “Twilight” character Jacob Black, gained traction after Diwata’s 2013 appearance on “It’s Showtime” resurfaced online.

In a recent TikTok video featuring his wife, Taylor Dome, a user commented, “Bro noticing everything except ‘What hafen Vela’ trend.”
Lautner replied, “Yup, but it’s not your fault, it’s mine,” acknowledging the meme for the first time. His comment has since garnered over 55,000 likes.
The meme’s resurgence has led to collaborations between Diwata and various Filipino artists and brands, including Ben&Ben, SB19, and more.
