CAUAYAN City—The Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Isabela State University (ISU), and the Cauayan City government have launched the 3rd International Smart City Exposition and Networking Engagement (iSCENE 2025) meant to boost local governance through science and technology.
With the theme “Innovation in Action: Empowering Smart and Sustainable Communities Through Government-Academe-Industry Collaboration,” the initiative has developed into one of the country’s “most important venues” for exhibiting innovative digital solutions that are suited to local communities.
The event involved a three-day gathering of leaders, thinkers, and innovators committed to using science and technology to enhance local governance.
In his remarks, Mayor Caesar Dy Jr. reiterated Cauayan City’s position as a leader in people-first smart governance.
