Alvin Que denies involvement in kidnap-slay of dad

Alvin Que, son of the murdered Filipino-Chinese businessman Anson Que, submitted on Wednesday his sworn affidavit before the Department of Justice (DOJ) in relation to the kidnap-slay case.

The younger Que was implicated as one of the suspects in the killing of the steel magnate.

Lawyer Pearlito de Campanilla said the submission of the affidavit is vital to hold those behind the murder accountable.

“It is a narrative that contains what happened from the time of the abduction up to the time of the positive identification of Anson Que. In between is the protracted and tedious, difficult negotiation for the ransom,” he said.

De Campanilla also emphasized that their camp would work closely with local authorities in the investigation.

Meanwhile, Gong Wen Li, also known as Kelly Tan, the primary suspect along with two others were also presented for the preliminary investigation.

In April, Que and his driver, Armanie Pabillo were found dead in Barangay Macabud, Rodriguez, Rizal.
