Fil-Am singer Cassie Ventura testifies to decade of abuse in Diddy trial

Filipino-American singer Cassie Ventura took the stand this week in the federal sex-trafficking and racketeering case against Sean “Diddy” Combs, detailing years of alleged abuse and control during their relationship.

Ventura, 37, testified that Combs repeatedly assaulted her and forced her into drug-fueled sex acts with other men, which he reportedly arranged and recorded.

“I hated it,” she said. “I was an object being heavily objectified by men.”

She said she used marijuana, ketamine, and GHB to cope during these encounters, which were referred to as “freak-offs.”

Ventura also alleged that Combs raped her in 2018 after she tried to end the relationship, and that he threatened to release explicit videos and isolate her from friends and family to keep control.

Prosecutors presented images and video stills in court to support her testimony.

Combs has denied all charges, with his lawyers saying the relationship was consensual and that any violence was mutual.

Cross-examination of Ventura is expected to begin later this week as the trial continues in Manhattan federal court.
