A maintenance worker from the Department of Public Works and Highway yesterday found four molotov-type incendiary bombs inside a drainage he was working on near the Church of God International along Quezon Blvd. in Quiapo, Manila.
The worker, Glenn John Reyes, 44, of No. 1503 Interior 7, Loreto St., Sampaloc, Manila, immediately reported his discovery to the Plaza Miranda police precinct.
Responding operatives from the MPD bomb disposal unit said the four bottles were tested and found to be negative for any hazardous or explosive materials.
Nonetheless, the Manila Police advised the public to be vigilant about the presence of possible improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the localities.
