Raslag, Pampangaelectric coop signsupply agreement

Raslag Corp. and Pampanga I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (PELCO I) have signed a 10-year 15 megawatt power Supply Agreement (PSA) that will help ensure a clean, renewable and stable source of power to Pampanga residents.

The parties shall be jointly filing the application for the approval of the PSA as required by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).

“The ceremonial signing marks a significant milestone in the parties’ shared commitment to advancing clean and sustainable energy in Pampanga,” Raslag said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

The PSA formalizes Raslag’s role in supplying renewable energy generated from its solar power facilities, specifically 36.646 MW RASLAG-4 solar power plant, to PELCO I, supporting the cooperative’s efforts to provide reliable and environmentally responsible electricity to its consumers. “This partnership aims not only to strengthen the local energy supply but also to reinforce both parties’ dedication to promoting energy security and sustainability in the region,” it said.

The company has four operating power plants namely the 10.046 MW Raslag I solar power project (Suclaban, Mexico, Pampanga) 13.141 MW Raslag 2 – 13.141 MWp Solar Power Project (Suclaban, Mexico, Pampanga), and the 18.011 MW Raslag 3 solar power projec

The board of Raslag earlier approved the issuance of preferred shares amounting to up to P2 billion via private placement to fund its pipeline of projects including the proposed 140 MW Raslag VII solar project in Nueva Ecija targeted for completion by 2027.

It also preparing the Raslag Gerona (50 MWp) and Raslag Liwayway (140 MW) solar projects to be shovel ready.

These projects are aligned with RASLAG’s vision of expanding its renewable energy capacity to 1,000-MW by 2035.
