In celebration of International Women’s Month, the Sheroes Summit 2025 Gala Night was held successfully at Seda Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Filipina-American Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel served as keynote speaker and panelist, along with distinguished Col. Francel Margareth Padilla, AFP spokesperson, and Rogerine Miguel-Irvine of the National Innovation Council (NIC).

Sheroes Summit, Asia’s largest forum for women professionals, was made possible by Pamela Nicole Mejia and Caroline Nacional, serving as an opportunity for women in peace & security, beauty & health, and creative entrepreneurship.

Sheroes Summit was founded to bring women professionals from the SHEROES community and businesses onto a common platform to encourage them to share various perspectives and experiences and ultimately improve and strengthen their custom-fit career choices.

“This Summit is about living your highest potential,” said Gabriel, wearing an elegant red suit. The host, model, and fashion designer, who has been living and working in Manila for a little under a year, spoke about her failures in pageantry, placing first runner-up for three consecutive years before winning Miss USA and ultimately the Miss Universe crown, which she considered her greatest achievement.

“The way I see failure is that I consider it my friend to help me along. It’s hard to beat somebody who never gives up. I thought I would regret not taking my last chance at Miss Texas and giving it my all. When I won Miss USA, some even said that I probably cheated, which hurt. But God gave me the motivation to compete at Miss Universe. I said that I owed it to myself to be the best version of myself and to give it my 100 percent, no matter if people believe you or not. Those experiences helped me get to where I am now as a successful woman. Always remember that we can achieve what we set out to achieve,” she stressed.
