Angeles LGU rolls out affordable housing

Residents of Angeles City can now access affordable housing through the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Project, with units priced at P1.23 million for 27 square meters, plus an optional P400,000 for parking.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. emphasized that this initiative offers a significant opportunity for residents to own decent homes. The affordability is achieved through national government subsidies, making homeownership more accessible.

The 4PH program further benefits borrowers by providing lower interest rates than Pag-IBIG Fund’s existing offerings, already considered the lowest in the market. This financial assistance is designed to ease the burden of homeownership for low-income individuals.

Lazatin, along with local and national officials, led the groundbreaking ceremony in Barangay Mining on February 27, 2025, marking the commencement of the project.

The project will construct ten six-story buildings, providing a total of 2,450 residential units. Additionally, it will feature 200 car parking slots and 680 motorcycle parking slots. Mayor Lazatin highlighted the program’s importance in providing safe, accessible housing within the city center.
