Okada Manila has become the first integrated resort in the Philippines to receive the Forbes Travel Guide VERIFIED Responsible Hospitality badge—a recognition affirming the resort’s unwavering commitment to sustainability, environmental protection and the well-being of its employees, guests and communities.
By meeting over 100 stringent standards in waste management, energy efficiency, and resource conservation, Okada Manila continues to set new benchmarks for responsible hospitality.
Developed in collaboration with sustainability pioneer Hervé Houdré, the Responsible Hospitality badge sets a global benchmark for environmentally conscious luxury. The trusted third-party verification assures guests and travel advisors that the world’s finest hotels, including Okada Manila, are committed to responsible and sustainable operations.
“At Okada Manila, sustainability is more than a policy—it’s a promise we uphold every day,” said Rob Scott, vice president for hotel operations.
“We are deeply committed to providing a premium guest experience while ensuring that our actions positively impact the environment, our team members, and the communities we serve. This recognition affirms our continuous efforts to create a responsible and sustainable hospitality model that prioritizes people and the planet,” said Scott.
