Donny Pangilinan’s choice of coffee

Donny Pangilinan has partnered with local coffee chain Pickup Coffee as its newest ambassador. The announcement took place on Feb. 5 at SM Megamall’s Fashion Hall, where the young actor expressed his appreciation for the brand and its distinct presence in the growing coffee market.

Since its launch in 2022, the coffee chain has expanded rapidly, with over 300 branches across the Philippines. It has sold more than 20 million cups, with the Kape Kastila among its top-selling drinks, reaching over 3 million cups served. Country chief executive officer Francis Flores said the goal is to make high-quality coffee accessible to everyone.

“Since we launched, our mission has been to uplift everyone through delicious, high-quality, and surprisingly affordable beverages, everywhere, one Pickup at a time,” he said.

Pangilinan, known for his relatable personality and love for coffee, said the brand’s taste and affordability made it his favorite. At the launch event, he posed for photos and showcased his skills behind the counter by pulling espresso shots and serving Kape Kastilas to guests. The drinks, made with 100 percent Arabica beans and a double shot of espresso, emphasize bold flavors.

Among the coffee chain’s offerings are the bold Kape Kastila, the creamy White Mocha, the smooth Caramel Macchiato, and the rich Crème Latte. With high-quality, budget-friendly options, the brand continues to demonstrate that premium coffee does not have to be expensive.

Pangilinan’s addition strengthens its connection with young, coffee-loving Filipinos, aligning his image with its mission to make quality coffee widely available. Angelica Villanueva
