Alternergy Holdings Corp. said Monday it posted a net income of P88.6 million in a six-month period ending Dec. 31, 2024. This was 26.89 percent lower than P121.2 million it earned in in the same period in 2023.
Alternergy attributed the lower profit to the decline in revenues from the Pillia Wind Project, which saw lower wind production due to lower wind speeds.
Alternergy reported an 81-percent increase in operating revenues in the first half of fiscal year 2025, reaching P181 million from P100 million.
Operating revenues from July to December 2024 period was boosted by the inclusion of operating results of the Palau Solar Power Project.
Alternergy’s other solar projects’ Kirahon Solar Project and portfolio of CityMall rooftop projects continued steady revenue contributions while operating revenues from the Pililla wind farm slightly declined due to lower wind production.
