The local government has announced the opening of the Taguig City General Hospital Outpatient Department (TGH-OPD) in Barangay Hagonoy.
This opening marks the first step toward the development of a Level 2 hospital, aiming to make quality healthcare more accessible to residents.
Mayor Laarni Cayetano stated that the TGH-OPD, located along Circumferential Road 6 (C-6 Road), is a modern facility designed to revolutionize healthcare delivery for the people of Taguig.
Free outpatient consultations are available, covering various specialties and subspecialties, including Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics.
In addition to consultations, the outpatient department provides specialized procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECG), minor surgeries, spirometry, and nebulization. Laboratory diagnostics are available, including hematology, clinical microscopy, microbiology, and clinical chemistry, along with radiology services such as diagnostic X-rays, ultrasounds, and CT scans.
To ensure that quality healthcare remains accessible, TGH-OPD offers a 40% discount for Taguig residents on outpatient, laboratory, and radiology services.
