The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center conducted a hybrid capacity-building activity (CBA) on the PPP Code and its implementing rules and regulations on May 22 to 23, 2024 at the University of the Philippines-Diliman in Quezon City.
This CBA catered to officials and technical officers of local government units (LGUs) and local universities and colleges (LUCs) in the National Capital Region and select LGUs in Southern Luzon.
The event was organized by the PPP Center, the USAID Regulatory Reform Support Program for National Development (RESPOND), which is being implemented by the UP Public Administration Research and Extension Services Foundation, Inc. (UPPAF), and the Center for Policy and Executive Development (CPED), a specialized Center under NCPAG.
“The PPP Code is a very important policy; it is important to nation-building, fast-tracking infrastructure projects, and even social development programs,” said Dr. Enrico Basilio, chief of party of UPPAF-RESPOND and executive director of CPED.
