An agreement between the Provincial Government of Bataan and DICT for a Digital Document Signing Project will be signed aiming to further improve the efficiency of public services in the province.

Students from Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) will undergo training for an educational program that will be shared with state universities across the country. This development is also expected to contribute significantly to the educational advancement in Bataan.

The conference served as a vital platform for governments, organizations, and industry leaders to exchange knowledge, explore innovative ideas, and forge collaborations that drive the adoption of blockchain technology. It gathered global FinTech companies, application developers, infrastructure partners, content creators, and technology enthusiasts which served as a catalyst for groundbreaking collaborations and industry advancements, according to a press statement from the provincial information office.

Among the delegates from the Philippines were DICT Assistant Secretary Edwin Lingot, Christian Pulmano from ADMU, Balanga City Education and Excellence Development Officer Tarra Ann Pagdanganan, and Joseph Pagdanganan and Kara Mei Herrera from the Bataan governor’s office. Butch Gunio
