Indak sa Ilaw dancefest marks Tanauan’s 21st cityhood year

TANAUAN CITY, Batangas — One of the features of the celebration of the 21st anniversary of Tanauan’s cityhood on March 10, 2022, was the holding of the Indak sa Ilaw Dance Competition, in which the participants competed wearing glittering and shining attire to the accompaniment of roaring music.

Eight groups of local talents competed and showed off their skill and creativity in the competition.

LGBTQI Tanauan took home the trophy and cash prize of P30,000 after being declared champion in the noontime contest. The Faces came in second with a P25,000 prize, and Artistic Minds Dancers came in third with P20,000.

Mr. Michael Lupac was part of the program and served as a judge in the Indak sa Ilaw Dance Competition along with Dr. Ronwaldo Endozo, and Ms. Aileen Gante Acorda.
