Disney animator’s toy collection on display

Award-winning German artist Hans Bacher, the production designer behind Mulan, among many other Disney movies, has shared his personal collection of toys from the all-time-favorite animated films from Disney Pictures and its subsidiary Pixar Animation Studios in a special exhibition.

Bacher’s assemblage of toys is comprised of much-coveted official stuffed plushies and figures from Lilo & Stitch, Winnie the Pooh, and Dumbo, to name some.

Spearheaded by the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB)’s Center for Campus Art (CCA) and the Animation Program, The Toy Collection of Hans Bacher exhibition is open to the public until Feb. 22 (the campus will be closed from Dec. 18 to Jan. 2).

The showcase is at the Animation Hallway, 11th Floor, School of Design and Arts (SDA) Campus, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB), Pablo Ocampo (Vito Cruz) Street, Malate, Manila.
