Luxury watch brand TW Steel, known globally for its bold and stylish timepieces, is lending its support to the 2nd El Presidente Cup, a charity golf tournament spearheaded by basketball icon and former Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Commissioner Ramon “El Presidente” Fernandez.

In a gesture of generosity, TW Steel’s Philippine distributor Manuel Dacanay presented several premium watches to Fernandez and his wife, Karla Kintanar-Fernandez, as prizes for the event. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Ramon S. Fernandez Sports and Youth Development Foundation, which is committed to helping talented yet underprivileged young athletes realize their dreams.
Dacanay’s company represents not only TW Steel but also other prestigious brands such as Luminox, Armen Italian Jewelry, Pierre Cardin, and Innovator Luggage, both locally and internationally.
One of the foundation’s notable beneficiaries is rising golf prodigy David Charles Serdenia, a symbol of the foundation’s commitment to nurturing future champions.
Set for June 13 at the prestigious Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club, the El Presidente Cup will bring together basketball stars past and present, celebrities, sports officials, and business leaders. Among the expected participants are personalities like Michael V. and other high-profile guests from the entertainment and sports industries.
Each participant will receive a special tournament package that includes a commemorative Mon Fernandez sports shirt and cap, a signed Mon Fernandez basketball jersey, a memorabilia card, and gift certificates from Innovator Luggage, Marriott, Columbia, and other sponsors. There will also be exciting raffle prizes and hole-in-one rewards to keep the competition thrilling.
To cap off the event, the fellowship lunch and awards ceremony will feature world-class entertainment with live performances from Side A Band, Ella May Saison, and Chad Borja, ensuring a memorable and festive conclusion to a day of sport and generosity.
