Shinnosuke took the crown.

Yulo strung up14.433 points in the floor exercise, 13.100 in the pommel horse, 13.633 points in the rings and 14.500 points in the vault.

After that, Yulo scored 14.167 points in the parallel bars and 13.800 points in the horizontal bar.

This was Yulo’s first tournament in 10 months, following his two gold medal performance at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The 2025 Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships runs from June 5 to 8 in Jecheon, South Korea.

With his performance, Yulo fell short of repeating his gold medal win last year in Tashkent, Uzbekistan,

But Yulo is not done yet. He will also be fighting for medals in five of the six apparatus finals, which includes the floor and vault, where he is the reigning Olympic titleholder.
