Motorcycle riders join grand Angkasangga motorcade

Thousands of motorcycle riders joined the grand motorcade of the Angkasangga Party-list on Saturday, in a powerful final push ahead of the elections. The convoy, which began in Pasay City and passed through key Metro Manila areas, drew bikers, delivery riders, tricycle drivers, and transport advocates.

A symbolic stop at Batasan Hills in front of Congress underscored the riding community’s call for representation, spotlighting Angkasangga First Nominee George Royeca as their chosen voice in the legislature. Simultaneous motorcades in Cebu and Batangas echoed this message nationwide.

The event concluded at Pop Up in Katipunan, Quezon City, where Royeca addressed supporters.

“Today, you didn’t just ride with me—you brought our community one step closer to real representation,” he said, adding that riders deserve recognition after years of serving the nation without legal protection.

Angkasangga’s legislative agenda includes the passage of a Motorcycle Taxi Law, the creation of a Magna Carta for Transport Network and Delivery Services, and the separation of food and parcel delivery riders from the outdated Motorcycle Taxi for Hire Act.
