Senatorial candidate Camille Villar has urged the younger generation to step up and make their voices count in the 2025 mid-term elections, saying it is time millennials take a major role in shaping the future of the country.
Villar enjoined millennials to be more active in driving social transformation, economic change, technological advancement, and political progress.
“Alam niyo po, bilang millennial leader, naniniwala ako na panahon na para maging bahagi tayo ng solusyon. Now, is the time for us, millennials, to be a part of the solution,” she said.
“Nakikita naman natin kung ano ang kailangan ng ating bayan. So, imbes na nakaupo lang tayo or wala tayong boses, now is the time to step up,” Villar added.
Backed with 15 years of combined experience in public service and corporate practice, Villar believes she can make a positive change and connect to the younger generation.
At 40, she is the youngest senatorial aspirant in the upcoming polls.
“And so, I humbly ask that you all give me this opportunity para makahanap po tayo ng mga bagong solusyon,” she said.
A two-term respresentative of Las Piñas, Villar has vowed to prioritize the housing sector, improve health services, and provide quality education for all.
She is also pushing for digital transformation in the various aspects of governance.
