Five additional hotels in the Philippines have been included in the prestigious Michelin Guide Hotels list, raising the total number of internationally recognized properties in the country to 11.

The newly listed establishments are Fairmont Makati, Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts, Solaire Resort Entertainment City, Raffles Makati, and Shangri-La The Fort, Manila.

These hotels join six other Philippine properties previously recognized by the Michelin Guide in 2024: Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery, Amanpulo, Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan, Hotel Okura Manila, Nay Palad Hideaway, and The Peninsula Manila.

The Department of Tourism (DOT) welcomed the latest recognition in a statement on Saturday, describing it as a testament to the high standards of Filipino hospitality.

“The inclusion of these DOT-accredited hotels in the Michelin Guide not only strengthens the Philippines’ positioning as a destination of choice for world-class hotel and tourism experiences, but also affirms the renowned Filipino warmth and excellence in hospitality, which are hallmarks of the country’s tourism brand under the Marcos administration,” the DOT said.

Earlier this year, the Michelin Guide announced its expansion into the Philippines, with the first official edition expected to launch in 2026.
