THE Philippine National Police (PNP) officially launched its
three-day Digital Photography Workshop on April 2, at the Public Information Office (PIO) Conference Room, Camp Crame.
The initiative, led by PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil, aimed to enhance the photography and documentation skills of 50 uniformed and non-uniformed personnel from various PNP units based in Camp Crame.
The workshop was made possible with the collaboration between Marbil and comptroller director Maj. Gen Neil Alinsañgan who both emphasized the important role of visual documentation in law enforcement.
PNP spokesman Col. Randulf Tuaño also emphasized the important role of photography in documenting important events, citing as example how a single image can convey a powerful message, contributing to transparency and strengthening public relations.
