The Philippine National Police-Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) on Thursday said they arrested on Wednesday an unlicensed dentist for illegally practicing dentistry in Cotabato City.
In a press briefing at Camp Crame, ACG spokesperson Lt. Wallen Mae Arancillo said the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit—Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (RACU-BAR) operatives nabbed the 26-year-old female suspect in an entrapment operation right inside her own clinic.
Arancillo said the operation came from RACU BAR’s cyber patrolling that led to the discovery of the suspect’s illicit activities through her Facebook page, offering dental services such as teeth brace installation for P1,000.
The raideers also seized various dental equipment and materials, assorted medicines, and dentures.
