THE Bureau of Immigration (BI) said it will expedite the deportation proceedings of 450 foreigners arrested by government operatives in a raid last Jan. 8 in Tambo, Paranaque City.
The BI is collaborating with foreign embassies for the immediate deportation of these aliens who were involved in illegal POGO operations, according to BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval.

“We don’t want them to stay here any longer because we would have to spend for their detention,” she said.
Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said the raid was part of the bureau’s intensified efforts to combat illegal activities and ensure that foreign nationals residing in the country comply with local laws.
