Actress-comedienne Evelyn Bontogon-Guerrero, better known as Matutina, has passed away at the age of 78.
Her death was confirmed by her family on Friday to GMA News.

According to the medical certificate shared with the said news outlet, her immediate cause of death was acute respiratory failure due to volume fluid overload.
Matutina was best known for her role in the 1970s sitcom starring Dolphy and Nida Blanca — “John en Marsha,” where she played the helper with a high-pitched voice.
Aside from her distinct voice, she was known for her comedic timing and catchphrases such as “et cetera, et cetera.”
