Airport authorities confirm crash in Maguindanao

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Thursday reported that an aircraft crashed in Maguindanao del Sur.

However, the agency did not provide specific details about the incident.

“CAAP confirms that an aircraft has crashed in Maguindanao del Sur,” CAAP information officer Bea Bernardo said.

“Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available,” she added.

Initial reports from locals circulating on social media claim that at least two bodies were found near the crash site, while a carabao was severely injured.
