General Romeo S. Brawner Jr., Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), visited key military units on December 16-17.
This visit was part of the AFP’s celebrations for its 89th Founding Anniversary.
General Brawner toured several frontline units, including the Special Operations Command and the Army Artillery Regiment.
He engaged directly with troops, acknowledging their dedication and sacrifices during the holiday season.
Brawner emphasized the importance of troop morale and the welfare of personnel within the AFP.
“Your service and dedication, particularly at this time of the year, speak volumes of your professionalism and love for country. The entire Filipino nation stands proud and grateful for your sacrifices,” General Brawner stated.
The Chief of Staff’s visit aimed to boost morale among soldiers as they prepare for the anniversary celebrations.
