THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Friday said a local courier service provider in Palawan has surrendered a parcel of suspected marijuana bricks.
The courier turned over the shipment to the PDEA after complying with company protocols.

Examinations of the parcel yielded two bricks of dried marijuana leaves weighing some 2,000 grams with estimated street value of P240,000.
The regional PDEA cited the courier for vigilance and quick action in handling the case.
It underscored the importance of public-private partnership to fight drug trafficking, and urged other courier services to stay vigilant.
