892 newly minted soldiers join Philippine Army

A total of 892 newly minted privates completed their four-month Basic Military Training (BMT) at the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), located in Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac.

These new soldiers were part of Candidate Soldier Course (CSC) Class 793-2024.

Brig. Gen. Joseph Norwin D. Pasamonte, the Commander of the 703rd Infantry “Agila” Brigade, challenged the new soldiers to excel in their military careers and to remain true to their sworn oath of duty to serve the people and secure the land.

The Agila Brigade commander also commended the new soldiers for “volunteering to become members of the Philippine Army” and for their dedication to serving the country.

CSC Class 793-2023 is the second batch of recruits under the Centralized Recruitment Program.

This program, implemented earlier this year, is designed to recruit capable and qualified applicants systematically and efficiently.

The graduates will be enlisted as privates and assigned to various Philippine Army Major Units (PAMUs) nationwide.
