ACMobility enhances infrastructure; introduces paid EV charging model

The Ayala Group’s mobility solutions arm, ACMobility, is set to improve the EV charging experience once again with the introduction of a new paid charging model. This initiative aligns with ACMobility’s commitment to establishing 250+ charging points across more than 100 locations nationwide by the end of 2024, catering to the increasing demand for reliable EV charging solutions.

Starting December 12, 2024, users will encounter a nominal fee of PHP 28.50 per kWh for AC charging and PHP 35 per kWh for DC charging at ACMobility charging stations in the National Capital Region (NCR). This pricing strategy, approved by the Department of Energy (DOE), aims to bolster the sustainability and reliability of the charging network, ensuring that EV owners have dependable services they can count on.

“Implementing charging fees allows us to reinvest in our infrastructure, maintaining high service standards while expanding our network,” stated Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, CEO of ACMobility. “We are committed to making every charging experience accessible and convenient, enabling worry-free travels throughout NCR and beyond.”

ACMobility’s charging stations are equipped with cutting-edge technology designed for efficient, secure charging. Through the EVRO app, users can easily locate available stations, monitor their charging sessions, and make cashless payments, minimizing downtime. The introduction of fees also encourages timely charging sessions, allowing more users to benefit from the service.

As ACMobility moves towards an electrified future, it invites the public to join the electric vehicle revolution. Customers are encouraged to choose ACMobility EV Charging Stations for a superior charging experience that prioritizes their time and investment.

“We express our gratitude to Filipinos for choosing to charge with us and through our initiatives, we remain committed to supporting their charging needs,” said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure. “Every new charging station brings us closer to fulfilling our mission of advancing sustainable transportation across the country. Together, we look forward to building a cleaner and greener future for generations to come.”
