NEDA-WB meeting

National Economic and Development Authority Secretary Arsenio Balisacan meets with officials from the World Bank, led by country director Zafer Mustafaoglu on March 20, 2025 at the NEDA Central Office in Mandaluyong City. The discussion focused on the Philippines’ poverty and equity assessment, covering areas such as fostering more economic inclusion and resilience through better functioning labor market, accelerating spatial convergence through better service delivery, building resilience to climatic shocks and upgrading fiscal policy to accelerate poverty reduction and support a resilient middle-class country.
