The 2025 officers of the Economic Journalists’ Association of the Philippines (EJAP), the country’s association of business and economic reporters, take their oath of oath of office before Department of Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan John Uy on Feb. 28 at the Ayala Museum in Makati City. Leading EJAP in its 40th year is Myla Iglesias Acuña from Malaya Business Insight as its president and chairman of the board. The incumbent officers include Jasper Emmanuel Arcalas of the Philippine Star (vice president – internal), Jenniffer Austria of Manila Standard (vice president – external), Keisha Ta-asan of The Philippine Star (secretary), Jon Viktor Cabuenas of GMA News Online (treasurer), Tyrone Jasper Piad of the Philippine Daily Inquirer (auditor). Completing EJAP’s board are Ruelle Albert Castro (Malaya Business Insight), Andrea San Juan (BusinessMirror), Brix Lelis (The Philippine Star), Meg Adonis (The Philippine Daily Inquirer), and Darwin Amojelar (Manila Standard).
