Tourism standards

The Philippines shines at the ASEAN Tourism Standards Awards held in Johor Bahru on Jan. 21, 2025. This prestigious event recognizes outstanding contributions from ASEAN member states to sustainable, inclusive and quality tourism development. Several Philippine tourism enterprises were honored for their adherence to ASEAN standards in excellence, cultural preservation, and sustainability. Joining the awardees at the event, Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco celebrated their remarkable achievements, underscoring the Philippines’ commitment to world-class tourism.
