Preventing cervical cancer

Dr. Romel Saulog Lacson, director of the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Health Undersecretary Glenn Matthew Baggao, along with other resource persons, tackled issues regarding cervical cancer prevention during a meeting dubbed “Together for Health: The Progress Made and What More Needs to Be Done for Cervical Cancer Elimination” held at the Manila Hotel on Nov. 27.  The event, held in observance of Global Cervical Cancer Elimination Day of Action, brought together experts, advocates, and decision-makers to raise awareness about cervical cancer prevention, celebrate progress, and emphasize the importance of collaborative efforts in the campaign.
